Hello there!

Nora Aoyagi is an artist and illustrator operating from an old Victorian located in Berkeley, California. Working in a variety of mediums ranging from screen printing to gouache, she explores themes and characters drawn from folk and fairy tales, constructing narratives that are at once easily recognizable and deeply intimate. Her other pursuits include reading, gardening, and graveyard picnicking.

A: Ow-YAh-gee. (gee- rhymes with 'key'). Others may pronounce it Ah-oh-YAh-gee which also works! My last name comes from Japan. 青柳
