I'm excited to announce that I'll be participating in this year's Roadworks Steamroller Printing Festival at San Francisco Center For the Book on September 24th! I’ve been carving away on a giant piece of linoleum and (fingers crossed!) it’s almost time to see it printed. See a preview below!
About the Event:
Roadworks is a family-friendly, daylong block party featuring public printmaking, bookmaking, and hands-on art activities. It celebrates printmaking and the art of the book in a spectacular way: printing 3’ by 3’ carved linoleum blocks using a 7-ton 1924 Buffalo Springfield steamroller. Prints are only available during the event and raise funds to support SFCB workshops, exhibitions, and free public programming.
